The mission of the Health Service is to develop programs and services to assist students in the maintenance of optional medical and mental health for study, work, as well as personal and community life.

Location
The Health Service is located on the second floor, Towers Living/Learning Center (412) 396-1650.

Working Together To Prevent Suicide

Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among college students. Often, suicide is the result of severe depression. While depression is a highly treatable condition, 2 out of 3 depressed college students never seek treatment. Are you concerned about yourself or a friend?

Nursing Hours
Monday - Thursday   7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  
 
Friday
  7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  

Beginning August 28 our physician hours will change to:
Monday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  
Tuesday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  
Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  
Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  

Subject to change in the Summer and Holidays.
CLOSED SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS.

After-Hours Care
Students may obtain after-hours care by paging the UPMC Adolescent Medicine Physician on-call at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
